I'm Em, an artist and maker based in both Cumbria, England and the Highlands of Scotland. 

Having grown up by impressive coastlines, and spent my teenagehood amongst mountains and lakes, the outdoors has always had a significant affect on who I am, and what I create.

I love to create work that mirrors what I see and experience in nature, as well as translate the thoughts and emotions I feel in my head and heart into something tangible, meaningful and precious. Whether it's a ring that is shaped and hammered by hand and fire, or a knitted hat meticulously stitched and threaded into being- everything I make is created with love, patience and thought.
